I'm New: What Can I Expect?
At Christian Fellowship Chapel, our hope is that everyone who joins us on a Sunday morning will feel at home. We know that coming to a new church can be intimidating, and so we hope you'll find answers to commonly asked questions.
What Should I Wear?
You're welcome to dress casually if you'd like. You're also welcome to dress in your "Sunday Best" if that's what you prefer. At the Chapel, you will fit in no matter what you wear.
How Long is a Service?
We tend to get together for our service at about 10:30, but this is a casual time where people will do things like pray quietly, have coffee, or catch up with each other. The Service itself begins at 10:45, and usually goes until about noon, maybe 12:15.
What Goes on at a Sunday Service?
Here is a rough outline of the kinds of things that happen on Sunday morning:
- Welcome and Announcements
- Singing Together
- Praying Together
- Kids go for Junior Church (if they want to)
- Preaching
- Singing Together
- Dismissal
